It Helps to be a hero!

This is a presentation about how it helps to be a hero. In our presentation we learned about heros and role models. We also have looked at at their goals and how they have became stars today. Then we had to pick a person who is our Role model and someone we look up to. My Role model I picked was my Nan and Maria Tutaia. Then on the very last side we had to write a letter to them. 2015 Reflection!

My 2015 reflection:

This year I was in Room 2 year 7. I have had a mixture of teachers .I have really enjoyed being a senior student at Pt England school. I have also enjoyed learning new things with my awesome teacher this year. My highlight for this year was when the year 7 went to rainbow end for a trip.

This year we had a saying which is SWALL. Which means show what awesome looks like. If I was to grade myself out of 10 I would give myself a 7. If I was to change something about myself to be better in 2016 is to be more of a leader and more focused in my learning.

This year we had a lot of fundraising. We fundraise for sports fee’s and our team trips to Rainbow end and Parakai. I have also contributed in our team fundraise.

For my teacher next year. I am a really hard worker and love to learn new things that could help me in the future. I finish all my work when it is needed to be finish.

The things I found frustrating this year was Literacy, because I don’t like reading and writing. The things I found satisfying was sports I love anything that got to do with sports. Things I need with help is Reading. Because I’m not a confident reader.

MISSING!!

It was a Beautiful and hot day. 7 months ago it was a normal school day. I was pleasantly waiting for the bell to ring. Riiiinnnnnnnnngggggg!! as the bell went off. I rushed quickly to class for my netbook.

After we did our song, mihi and Karakia it was Literacy time. I was working on my netbook then Literacy was finish. I put away my netbook. When morning tea finished it was math time. I went to the netbook cupboard and I discovered that I netbook wasn’t there. I was Panicking. I was searching everywhere.

I asked my teacher, Miss Clark she didn’t know where it was. I asked my friends, they didn’t know where it was. Then it was finally lunch time I opened my desk to get my SSR book. Then there it was my NETBOOK!! I was so happy I found it.

The room was Dark

When I walked through the door

I notice the moldy walls

And the broken draws

The ceiling was dark brown

The parts were starting to fall down

I held my nose

cause I couldn’t bare the smell

It was so bad I wanted to go

mysterious room, must grab the broom. Sweep the floor, sweep the door wishing to restore, this lovely house that used to be poor

Immersion Assembly!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!! as the bell went off, I quickly rushed to my class for immersion assembly, I was saying in my head "please don't be late". I got to class just in time for the mihi and karkia, we do every morning.  After we did our mihi, karakia and song we lined up at the door and walked quietly to the school hall.

When we arrivaled at the school hall the environment was really loud. I saw our terms topic and it was survival!! Each team had a performce to show to the school about the topic survival. The main idea of our topic, survival was about how human and

The first team that went up was team one. Their performance  was about how team one will be going on a trip to auckland zoo and they also picked some kids to sing karaoke. The song was Roar by Katy perry. The winner was Marika, Miss king daughter, She won a trip to the zoo with team one for free.
Then team two and so on. It was finally team five's items

Netball Tournament

On Wednesday  the year five to eight student from Pt England School had a mix netball Tournament.  We had a Tamaki Cluster netball tournament. The schools that went were Tamaki Primary, Glen Taylor, Sliver Park, Glen Innes, Panmure Bridge and Ruapotaka. I was in the year seven and eight A team. Our first game was against Sliver Park and it was a really hard game. The points were  point 5-6 to us. Then our next game was against Glen Innes and we lost 7-9. My favourite game was playing panmure bridge we won 15-0.
