In the book there is a boy called Beck who is investigating what happened to his parents. When he was little their plane mysteriously crashed in the jungle.
So far in the story Beck has pretended to be dead to avoid being attacked by monkeys. They were throwing sticks and stones at him so he lay very still until they got bored and moved on. While Beck was asleep because he felt sick he had a dream about an Indian who he hadn't seen for a long time. Not since he was at at Carnival where the Indian told him to find the Lost City.
Beck was wearing a gold amulet around his neck, he blew on the amulet. I can't wait to see what happens next.
