Did you know that shot put has been an Olympic event since the first modern Olympics in 1896 in Rome. It’s a sport the requires technique as well as strength. The men's shot put started before the women's.The women's stated in 1948.Did you know that the woman’s world champion is from New Zealand and her name is Valerie Adams.The men’s world champion is from U.S.A his name is Randy Barnes.

World war one

The declaration of war in 1914 was met with excitement as young men and woman went to war.The young
men's  and woman's were going to war not knowing that it was going to be dangerous and a really hard adventure.Here is how the war started in 1914 on the 28 of June a  Serbian named Gavrilo Princip was short and killed.When he got killed a lot of people were very angry.After time it was bigger and bigger so Britain declared war.

There were so many country's involved in the war.Over 30,000 New Zealanders went to war.As they went off to war they said there good byes to there families .Most of the people from New Zealand and Australia that went to war were only young.When the war was finished in 1918 they sailed back home to there familiars.The war was so bad over 16,000 people died in the people and only 40,000 people made it home.



What I have learned is we should not be sad but be happy and proud of the brave people that went to fight for there country,us and also  there family's too but LEST WE FORGET.

My movie about high bar.

 Hi this is my movie all about high bar.High bar is a game is the commonwealth games.What I have been using Google search to help me with my voice over.The male world champion winner was Epke Zonderland.

The tick most that people do on the high bar is called giant but in order for you to go around and around and around you need to have seed.

My holiday recount

“YAY can’t wait to go to the theme parks”.On Wednesday we were on our way to movie world.  When we got there ,we ran straight into the theme parks.Our first ride was SUPER MAN!!! We were so excited but until  it was our turn we were so scared because it look so FAST.

“OOH MY GOSH” as I screamed so loud but my cousin was just laughing and laughing the whole way.As we came off I was so dizzy and I felt like swiping. My.My cousin really really wanted to go on the arkham asylum but I didn't want to go on it.He was begging and begging so I said yes.As we were on our way to the ride we were taking selfies.

We finally got there but I was still dizzy.”come come Liz it’s our turn” as my cousin said to me.I buckled myself to get ready for the ride.As we were waiting and waiting the lady said we were going to go upside down five time and I said to my cousin “WHAT”!!! “Man I should have not listen to you”.Man I am just going to get dizzier and dizzier.As the ride started I was just closing my eye until the ride stopped right at the top and I said “what’s happening” and he said “get ready” I said “ for what” we went down so fast I was screaming so loud.My favourite part of that ride was when it was finish.My cousin couldn't stop laughing when we came off.Me and my cousin was hungry.

The three lasts rides that me and my cousin went on was green lantern , batman and scooby do.Me and my cousin went on scooby like a million times.

After movie world my cousins Grace and Memory said that we were going to McDonald for lunch.I had a big man combo but I only ate a half because I was full.I asked my cousins where we were going tomorrow and she said “wet n wild” and me and my cousin were so excited for tomorrow.TO BE CONTINUED….....
