On a sunny Wednesday the year 5 and 6 had a Ripper rugby game at Dunkirk. There was a girls team and a mix team.We all went into the hall to say a prayer.We went outside for Mr J on the van.I went with Mr Marks.When we got there I jumped out of the car and runned to the big big field but no one was there we stayed there for a little bit then Mr J came and put the tent up we had a little game it was called survivor. We had to take the tag off the person.The last one with two or one tag is the winner.The mixed team had their first

game.It was Pt England vs Parnell school it was a very hard game and we came a draw. .After we played our first game we had morning tea but we only 40 minutes. When we were having our morning tea.We only had 3 games.The last game was Pt England vs St thomas school.Miss V said if we win we go to the final.The pinots was three and four.We had four and St thomas had three it was a good game.We were in the finals we all were happy and scared at the same time.For the final we vs Parnell again.When we started the game we said a prayer for good luck.The game started and at the end we won. We were so happy all of us jumped up and down. It was a cool game. The mixed team came first out of all the teams. I felt happy and I can’t wait to go to Eden park..

Camp reflection

“Man, I’m so excited, I can’t wait to go to camp!”.Point England school has had a senior camp for 23 years how cool is that.Last Wednesday to friday afternoon.We had our year 5 and 6 camp on the school field.We were sleeping in tents and i was sleeping with Melea and Raewen.I was in the true crew the leader’s for the true crew was Taniela and Emmy. The first activity the true crew did was catching and cooking.The boys went to catch some fish.We were cooking cookies and we were cooking with Mrs Clarke.It was a lot of fun because it is was my frist time cooking cookies.We did top town nextwith Mr J was running it.We had to communica together and work as a trem.We had a water fight we put them in the war zone.The last activity for the day was Kayaking..We were Kayaking with Mr Burt and some year 8’s. On the second day of camp we did rollerblading,It was very very difficult to balance.The rollerblading was very very speeded. We did Get Lost and it was a cool game. Mr J was leading it again. We had to go in a team i was in the cool team we were working as a team. At the end we came first it was cool. My best activity was Karaying because it was a very cool activity to do. On Friday the year 5 and 6 went to the Mangere pools. It was a very hot day. We went on a bus and i was very happy. I was in the race for swimming. When i was swimming I came 3rd then all of us went to go the slide. I was swimming with Rowana and Ashley. When the big slide opened I ran fast to the big slide.I went down and it was too deep for me, I couldn’t touch the ground. I felt very happy about camp. I hope I am in the true crew next year but a leader. I am looking forward to next year for the year 5 and 6 camp.
