Once upon a time there live a Eel called Elizabeth she lived with her mum and dad. She had lots and lots of cousins but no brothers or sister.She lived in a river called Omaru Creek .There lived fishes,frogs and ducks.People loved to see the Eels,fishes,frogs and ducks at Omaru Creek. .Elizabeth loved to swim up and down it was a lot of fun and a peaceful place.
People loved to swim in it too because it was fun some people ate some fishes.One day kids started to throw rubbish and It was getting polluted.A school called Pt England came to see how polluted the Omaru creek was.It was so polluted that people could’nt swim or eat there. The plant in the creek started to die and there was not that much food lots of eels die and sadly Elizabeth and her family. The End..........
This was a very interesting narrative Elizabeth. I liked how when I read your story I could see in my head how clean and beautiful the river was. However, what was your solution to the problem of the river becoming polluted?
ReplyDeleteI hope that the students at Pt England can help to restore Omaru creek to good health. Wouldn't it be great to think plants, eels, fish, frogs and ducks and even children may once again enjoy the creek again?
