Fale Fono and Hauora

What is a fono fale?
Is a place for pacific health. It was originally made by samoa. It helps pacific people with health. It has two main things in the fale fono which is Family and Culture. It also includes spiritual, physical, social and mental well-being.

What is the difference between fale fono and Hāuora?
The fale fono is a model of pacific model. Created by Samoa. The Hauora is a model for maori health. The main two things in the fale fono is Culture and Family. Those are the two things that aren't in the hauora.

What is similar between Fale fono and Hauora?
They both got to do with the model of health but just represent didnt cultures. Fale fono(Pacific) and Hauora(Maori). Also something that the two have in common is they both have spiritual, social, physical and mental well-being.

Difference between fonofale and hauora?
The hauora has four walls compared to a fale fono. The fale fono doesn’t have four walls. The walls is a circle shaped and the hauora has four. The hauora also looks similar is a marae.

Do you like the Hāuora model or the Fonofale model more? Why?
I like the fale fono because it has to do with pacific health.

All about me!

Kia Orana and Talofa lava my name is Elizabeth Uea(Liz). I am 13 years old. I currently attend Tamaki College in Glen Innes(G.I). This year is my first year in College and I have really enjoyed it. Family:
I am the oldest of seven children in my family. I have two sister, three brothers and one on the way! My second oldest sister Evalyn lives in Sydney Australia, and my second oldest brother Sioeli lives in Tonga. I stay with my Mum, Step dad, Nan and my brothers(2). My sister cherish stays with her nan but sometimes comes over for the weekend. The main person in my family that is really close to me is my nan. She is the one who raised me and brought me up until now. She is also my role model because she is really supportive and really really strong. Even tho I give her a hard time she has never loved me less.

Friends:
Although my family is really important to, me so are my friends. This year in college I have made a good group of friends. Even though we just met this year I feel like I've known them like forever. Since I have made new friends it has been easier to work with different people in work. Although we have our ups and down we are still there for . That's what makes them special to me. My friend are important to me because they are the many that help me through school. They also have my back, supportive and make me laugh till we look like mental people. They are a very encouraging group of people. Amo sometimes xx.

Hobbies:
What I love to do in my spare time is play sports. I love anything to do with sports. I enjoy playing every sport but my main two favourite sport I like to play is Netball and Tag. I have played club for both sports. I have been in a lot of netball clubs throughout the years.  I got selected to play for Auckland Netball when I was a year 7(2015). I also have rep Cook Island for Tag.

Goals:
My goal for this year as a year 9 is to get use to moving to different classes, listening to what the teacher is teaching, trying my best in every subject. My goals for the next five years is to focus on school, Not getting into trouble and learn new things throughout the years. Also one of my goals for year 13 is maybe be one of the school leaders and a role model to all. My goal for the future after college is to maybe go to university to study sports. Also to be a silver fern and rep New Zealand.
